Today, Crypt Friends Studios had the pleasure of attaining an exclusive interview with the Ragnaros and Lord Victor Nefarius as they just so happened to be walking by our online office. With a few moments to spare, they sat down with us and had a quick talk.

CF: Hi Ragnaros! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to …

Ragnaros: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS INTRUSION?

CF: … hey let me finish.

Lord Victor Nefarius: Yes let the insect finish. Their efforts will prove fruitless in the end, as none shall stand in my way!

CF: Thank you Nefarion for being a small voice of reason here… Yeah… To continue, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules today to stop by and have a little chat!

Ragnaros: YOU HAVE AWAKENED ME TOO SOON, INSECT. THE EXPANSION IS HERE YET NOT.

Lord Victor Nefarius: Excellent… it would appear as if the meddlesome insects have arrived just in time to feed my legion. Welcome, mortals!

CF: Well we’re off to a good start. Tell us, what is your opinion on the recent class changes players are experiencing, including talent trees and health increases?

Ragnaros: YOU SOUGHT THE POWER OF RAGNAROS. NOW YOU SHALL SEE IT FIRSTHAND!

CF: That doesn’t exactly answer the question at hand…

Ragnaros: YOU SOUGHT THE POWER OF RAGNAROS. NOW YOU SHALL SEE IT FIRSTHAND! TASTE THE FLAMES OF SULFURON!

Lord Victor Nefarius: Ignore him, he’s been preparing as of late for the up coming expansion. He can’t break character. Company policy.

CF: Although we’re not on an RP server?

Lord Victor Nefarius: No, he takes it to extremes.

Ragnaros: BY FIRE BE PURGED!

CF: I see…

Lord Victor Nefarius: To answer the question insect, I view the changes as futile. They now face my master, who will crush them. He shall use their hides to line his boots.

CF: Didn’t you propose the same threat 5 years ago, and now you’re nothing more than a memory shaded in ruby quartz glasses of fondness?

Lord Victor Nefarius: Bold words insect. The days of both the Alliance and Horde are coming to an end.

CF: Arthus predicted the same.

Lord Victor Nefarius: This is true, but he did not understand the true evil that will draw the demise of the World… of Warcraft

CF: And that is?

Lord Victor Nefarius: (whispers) Activision

Ragnaros: ACTIVISION!

Lord Victor Nefarius: They will make the came so easy, adventurers so complacent, they will not expect their demise at the hand of the aspect of death! They will slowly make changes even to the point that they will lock your account out upon death, and charge you to resurrect! They will modify raid lock outs and provide a ‘service’ to unlocking it for a charge. In game items for a charge! They are truly evil that they profit over the end of the World!… of Warcraft!

CF: Interesting perspective. So you predict that there will be raid lock out changes to allow users to stack more epics?

Ragnaros: PURGE IT WITH FIRE!

Lord Victor Nefarius: That’s not one of your lines…

Ragnaros: COME FORTH MY SERVANTS! DEFEND YOUR MASTER!

Lord Victor Nefarius: Better. But yes, I do predict that the World will be shattered. It will be slowly torn apart. A cataclysm has already occured, and has slowly been opening a great divide in the previous years, seperating that of hardcore and casual raiders. The middle ground has sank into oblivion. It has paved the way for my master’s return, and he will only continue to divide the factions until only one remains.

CF: That being?

Lord Victor Nefarius: CASUALS! And with any of the serious gamers removed from the picture, there will be no defenses! Your end will be certain! Not even your NPCs will defend you!

CF: Well this has been insightful, however we must bring this interview to an end. Any last thoughts or words?

Lord Victor Nefarius: Let not even a drop of their blood remain upon the arena floor, my children. Feast on their souls! Concentrate your attacks upon the healer! Kill the one in the dress!

Ragnaros: Thank you, it was a pleasure being able to provide my insight in such serious matters. I hope you have a lovely day! BY FIRE BE PURGED!

Well that was it for our interview. Sadly our attendees were quickly whisked back into Activision-Blizzard by civilians in sunglasses and sharp looking suits. What can be taken away from this? Conspiracy theorists will no doubt flock in hoards to this. The apocalypse is upon us! There is no saving our souls! Enjoy what little time you have left!! In any regards, see you next Tuesday!
